Two day training seminar

Period 13

Physical activities

Data gathering

  • Data gathering includes search of historical records and a set of surveys and procedures.

  • This can only be carried out by trained operatives with instruments. Installation

  • Installation includes design as every location is different. Materials and electronics can be obtained 'off the shelf' and put together as the work progresses.
  • The present method of work is not successful because of the infinite number of variables that are always present at every location.

    Turning it on

  • Commissioning must allow for adjustment and additional installations as work progresses.

    Maintenance

  • Maintenance must include adjustments and alterations to include additional 'foreign' conductors such as new pipelines, railways, fences, metal piles etc. It must also include continuous balancing of the equilibrium of the whole circuit.
  • This can be remotely computer controlled.
